I just modernized! I changed my old website into this new thing and added a blog function to it. Anyway this will help share my Los Angeles Piano Lessons website online tips to you.

So I’ve been teaching piano for over 10 years now (4 in Los Angeles) and I just love it.

I take each lesson as a new experience. I believe it’s a little bit the same way a piano student should be practicing. Otherwise, it might start to be boring… always the same thing over and over again. So, if at the start of each piano practice the student is in a fresh state of mind, ready for new practice, new experience, that practice will most probably be very efficient.

There’s a point when this boring feeling sets in where it’s starts to be shallow. Not as deep of a practice. Less interested to explore and go deep. And this is valid for both the piano teacher or student practicing.

Again it really depends what you want to do with your music. But even if it’s just for pleasure and to change your mind with some creativity, a certain level of interest on the part of the student is needed.

Don’t worry, that level of interest can revived at anytime by either the piano teacher or the student himself, if there is still a shadow of willingness.

That’s pretty philosophical. I guess this is the way I celebrate my first blog…. wow, “very” exciting… Ok, I’ll keep it down next time.
